•  Upon completion of the assessment, a written report with recommendations and a service plan for recommended Loss Control activities will be developed for your approval and reviewed by your key individuals.

Ongoing Service and Monitoring:

•  This group would be involved in creating an on-going service plan based off results from our findings and goals of each individual Member.

PCWSP LOSS CONTROL

 Initial Assessment:

•  Risk Control works closely with Members to design comprehensive plans to help prevent and mitigate loss.  We perform a Risk Assessment of our Members operations to familiarize ourselves with the current safety culture and activities in place, including:

• Tour your operations,

• Review of safety documentation and programs,

• Review loss history and trends,

• Meet with key management personnel to determine goals, objectives, and any concerns with the current safety program.

Provide guidance in:

•  Workers compensation accident investigation,

•  WC reserving,

•  Claim handling, and

•  Settlement options

CARE COORDINATOR

Risk Manager

•   Receive all new workers’ compensation first reports of injury from the carrier

​

•   Facilitate return to work

​

•   Facilitate communication with employer, medical provider(s), and claim adjusters

​

•   Provide data and reports as needed to the employer regarding

lost time days, return to work strategies, medical providers, etc.

   Reach out to injured workers to facilitate optimum claims experience

​

•   Advocate for injured worker when necessary – Translation service available

​

•   Facilitate medical appointments and communication of medical progress
